A Simple New Year’s Health Resolution In North Scottsdale AZ
A Simple New Year's Health Resolution in North Scottsdale AZ
Let's break it down into 3 easy parts to make it work this year! Our North Scottsdale AZ chiropractor is ready to help you achieve your New Year's Resolutions.
This is the time where people make New Year's resolutions and want to make major changes to improve their lives in the upcoming year. In some cases, it works, but many times, over and over, people fail. They have good intentions and try hard, but find themselves falling off the wagon, so to speak, by February or March or even earlier. I'd like to help by breaking it down and making it much simpler. We can look at three different parts like past, present, and future. It doesn't have to be that difficult. I can certainly help simplify it to make it work this time.
What Did Not Work Last Year In North Scottsdale AZ?
Think hard about what you tried to do last year, and it did not work. It might be one particular thing, or it could be a number of things you thought you were going to change and did not happen. It could also be something that you really tried to change, worked for a while but ultimately for some reason you did not follow through or it did not serve you, so you stopped. Once you find out what that thing or things were that did not work, let them go. Do not include them in your new resolution. For whatever reason, it's not something you are focused on and ready to change. At least not this year.
What Has Been Working For You, And Is It A Habit You Want To Keep In The New Year?
Think about a healthy habit that has been working for you. One that you embrace and works well in your lifestyle. This is something you want to carry along to next year. It doesn't have to be a difficult decision or ponder it. It should come to you quite easily. Something that just simply works. Keep that as a habit. It's not a new resolution, just a good habit you want to keep doing.
What Would You Like To Add To Your Lifestyle That Would Be A Positive Influence?
Here's where it should come to you right away. Once again, no serious thinking or soul-searching. This should pop up in your head right away. It could be something simple like drinking eight glasses or more of water per day. Maybe counting the added sugars in the ingredients list on foods. Simple. Don't make it difficult, and don't set it so high, like I need to lose 15 pounds. That doesn't give you any resource or plan on how to do it. (That's why it hasn't worked in the past.) We can help you plan a weight loss strategy in my office to do that if you like. For today, let's just keep things simple and make very small changes that can make a big difference. That way it's not overwhelming, and you'll get better results.
This should help you to keep things simple this year. Stack the odds in your favor by keeping things easy and breaking them down into these three parts. If you, or anyone you know, would like help in making some small or large changes that make big difference in your life and health, please call my office for a complimentary consultation. This is what we've been doing at Accurate Care, for over 25 years here in Arizona. I wish everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year!
